wpba 9-Ball and European Team Cup snooker

North Carolina (USA) and Belgium

Hi everyone

Last week I played the first wpba event of the new season in North Carolina. I played some good and some bad matches, the problem at the moment is that I am working to hard in my new pool and snooker club that I don't have much time to practice. I got back on monday morning at 8am in Brussels, my best friend picked me up and drove me to Gent to play the European team cup event(snooker) so it was a long day for me. My team mate is Isabelle Jonckheere, we first had to play against France and we won 6-2 (myself 4-4, Isabelle 2-2) in the evening we played against Scotland and won 8-0. I played pretty good I had a lot 30 and 40's and the last frame I had a nice 93 break and I missed the last red. On tuesday we played against Finland and we won 7-1 (myself 3-4, Isabelle 4-4)
Thursday at 6pm we play the semi final.
We played the semi final against England (Reanne Evans and Hannah Jones(10year old upcoming talent) I played pretty good the whole match except for the 2 frames against Reanne, I got out of position a few times and that cost me the frame.
In the end it was 4-4 so Reanne and me had to play the deciding frame. In that frame I took my chances, and I won the frame 79(34)-31. So we won the match 5-4.
Tomorrow we play the final against Poland.
Finaly find the time to update my website, last friday we played the final against Poland and we won easy 5-0. (frames myself: 71(49)-10, 67-17, 61(30)-30)
I had a great time during the event, I really enjoyed playing.
In about 2,5 weeks i'm going back to the USA to play the second wpba (pool) tournament so wish me luck.
