wpba great lakes classic
9-ball pool
Hi everyone
I have been in Michigan City the last couple of days to play the 2nd wpba event of the year.
In my first match I had to play against Angel Paglia, I played great. I had the perfect tables and wasn't missing balls. 9-2
Then my second match I had to play against Xaoting Pan (runner-up last event)
I started off pretty good and was leading 3-1 but then suddenly it changed I had difficult run outs all the time and I was 8-3 down before I even knew it. But then it started to change and things went my way again and got back to 8-7 but unfortunately I lost 9-7.
So up to the west side, there I played Sarah Rousey again, for the second time this season. I won pretty easy with a 9-4 win.
Yesterday evening I had to play Miyuki Sakai, I lost 9-7. It was a terrible match, especially in the beginning of the match, everytime when she missed a ball she hooked me it was unbelieveable. I only missed maybe 3 balls that I shouldn't have missed but other than that things weren't going my way that match. And alternating break doesn't help ofcourse. That's frustrating sometimes about playing 9-ball, maybe they should make the pockets a little bit smaller that would make it a lot more honest, then you have to be much more precise. I think it's more proffesional that way.
Anyway i'm glad I can go home tomorrow because there is absolutely nothing to do around here.
I will be home for one week and then i'm off to Taiwan to play the World pool championships.
Wish me luck
Wendy
